GU10 Fire Rated IP65 Downlight Twist Lock

The GU10 Fire Rated IP65 Downlight is designed to provide a secure, durable and modern recessed lighting installation in compatible ceilings. Its clean circular bezel works with contemporary and traditional interiors while keeping the GU10 lamp neatly positioned within the ceiling.

The fitting provides tested 30, 60 and 90-minute fire-rated protection when correctly selected and installed as part of a compatible ceiling construction. This helps preserve the fire-resistance performance of the ceiling after an opening has been created for the downlight.

An IP65-rated front provides protection against dust and water jets when the fitting is installed correctly. This makes the downlight suitable for selected bathrooms, kitchens and moisture-prone indoor areas, subject to the relevant electrical zones and installation regulations.

The convenient twist-lock front allows easier access to the GU10 lamp. The bezel can be released when a bulb requires installation or replacement and secured again to maintain the clean recessed appearance of the fitting.

The GU10 Fire Rated IP65 Downlight supports compatible GU10 lamps with a maximum stated wattage of 50W. The lamp is not included, allowing customers to choose an appropriate GU10 LED bulb with their preferred wattage, lumen output and colour temperature.

A standard cut-out of approximately 72mm makes the fitting suitable for many compatible recessed-lighting installations. The complete fitting measures approximately 86mm across and 75mm deep, although available ceiling void space should always be checked before installation.

The GU10 Fire Rated IP65 Downlight is available in White, Chrome and Satin Nickel finishes. These options allow the bezel to coordinate with different ceiling colours, bathroom fittings, switches, sockets and other interior hardware.

The fitting operates with compatible GU10 lamps on a 230–240V AC, 50/60Hz lighting supply. Because it is a mains-voltage recessed product that forms part of a fire-rated ceiling installation, fitting should be completed by a competent or qualified electrician.

Suitable insulation clearances, ventilation requirements and manufacturer instructions must be followed. The electrician should also confirm that the selected GU10 lamp, ceiling construction and surrounding materials are compatible with the fitting.

The IP65 rating applies to the exposed front when the product is correctly assembled and installed. It should not be interpreted as permission to install the fitting in every outdoor position or bathroom zone without checking the applicable electrical and building requirements.
